Grade R parents activity evening

In keeping with the Going Green theme for 2010, parents' task for the evening was to build something special for their boys using various waste products.

The Foundation Phase at Highbury, incorporating The Weavers’ Nest Pre-Primary, caters for children aged 3 to 9 years old.

Sharron Lane has headed up the Foundation Phase for 19 years. She ensures that she follows the progress of every child very closely through teaching in each class and regular grade meetings with the teachers, to discuss the best way forward for each pupil.

Sandy Brukman, Deputy Head of Foundation Phase, ably assists Sharron to run this vital phase of education.

Jane Leppan, a Grade 00 teacher, is the HOD of Early Childhood Development, and she works closely with Sharron Lane to develop the early years’ curriculum. (3 to 5 year olds)
